Just got back from Tiesto.....

Place was way too packed and hot....got thing we found some seats up stairs and chillout

Great seeing my buddy, Trey and his company.....always a pleasure to party with you guys

Tiesto's set was ok at best. Mixing was pretty good @ the beginning but then it went downhill

I'll give it a 7/10

Tracklist (not in order):
Cassandra Fox - Touch Me (Mike Koglin vs Jono Grant Remix)
Randy Kantana- Play it Louder
Tiesto ft Maxi Jazz - Dance4Life
Tiesto- Breda (Montana Edit)
Snow Patrol- Chasing Cars (Topher Jones & Blake Jarrell Remix)
Tiësto – Lethal Industry (Richard Durand Remix)
Tiesto- Adagio For Strings
Tiesto- Traffic
Tiesto- Flight 643,,,,some remix
Karen Overton- Your Loving Arms (Club Mix)

That's all I could think of right now....until next time, b1tches!!!

Other tunes I remember:

Super8 vs. DJ Tab - Helsinki Scorchin' (Alex Morph Remix)
DJ Tiesto - He's a Pirate

Highlight of my night was hearing Adagio. Still givs me chills!

He rocked the place, no doubt about that. Great venue minus the extreme heat and incredibly rude people who can't say "excuse me."

Ah well :)

There were two audio difficulties during Tiesto's set where the sound dropped out completely. Mixing wise it wasn't the best I'd seen him do....a few times he mixed into the next song too hard and it was extremely obvious.

Anyhow, I loved the show and hope it's not another 2 years before we get him back in town!

Afterwards, we spend about an hour trying to find Studio 980. It was...ok. Would have imagined more than what it was for @20. But look at the other after hours options we have....I think 980 is the better place to be.

Again, a HUGE thanks to Devin and the Liquified crew that made this event possible :)

(Devin, respond to my PM's, please) :)

Jack - Great times as always bro. SOrry you guys bailed a little early and we couldn't say goodbye. The four of us will need to do dinner sometime soon.

I know the set list isn't out yet but does anyone know the name of the song he played within the last hour or so, he seemed to make it sound like it was a new song... All the visuals were saying sound of tiesto over and over and was mway ore dramatic than the other visuals that said the same thing. Sorry if thats not enough info. I'm pretty sure it was close following adagio.

Place was PACKED! That was just the floor...

sorry these are poor quality, but they were taken with a phone :( I also have some good vids but can't upload them.

I think I danced non-stop for 5 hours and 45 minutes...tiring but intense. Dance 4 Life and Lethal Industry were my favourites. Did anyone else see the Tiesto look-alike? I stood next to him in the dead centre 15-20 feet from Tiesto.

Overall this was an alright show, what surprised me the most was the number of people who had no idea who Tiesto actually was especially since the crowd was so damn pushy. I was at the VERY front along the stage and I felt like I had to really fight to keep my spot. Also, don't remember who the opener was, but imo I thought it was sooooo rude to chant Tiesto's name throughout his set.

In general, the crowd was into Tiesto (whether they knew which guy was Tiesto or not)which was great and I loved the venue. Overall Tiesto's set overall was good, but he made a mistake mixing or something because at one point there was a pause and he said something along the lines of "oh sh*t." He spun a bunch of great tracks and a couple of ehhh tracks...anyhow, I suck at IDs but here are some tracks I remember.

anyone know name of the track he opened with??
mistiso
Anyone have any idea on the tune he started his encore with before Flight 643?

It's an older one...I heard it as an opener for a live set a few years back. Starts out with some funky noises...

Maybe he just used the beginning part of the tune. He then mixed into Flight 643.

Been trying like hell to find it :)

skylined1
you mean this?

[[ LINK REMOVED ]]

it's a remix of flight 643
mistiso
That's the remix of Lethal Industry. That was after Flight 643. The tune I'm referring to was right when he started the encore...before he mixed into Flight 643.

The sounds are a little hard to describe... :(
