I read alot on those pages, ahha. There's some pretty interesting stuff.
There's one page just talking about the photos that were supposedly taken on the moon. Here's an overview:
- 5771 photographs were taken in 4834 minutes on the moon's surface.
- the astronauts had MANY OTHER TASKS OTHER THAN PHOTOGRAPHY
Apollo 11........one photo every 15 seconds
Apollo 12........one photo every 27 seconds
Apollo 14........one photo every 62 seconds
Apollo 15........one photo every 44 seconds
Apollo 16........one photo every 29 seconds
Apollo 17........one photo every 26 seconds
- each shot was pretty much perfect, no overexposure, underexposure, blur, or out of focus.
- the cameras were mounted on a chest-plate for the astronaut to operate. The astronaut had to manually set the shutter speed and apertures while wearing bulky, pressurized gloves and without being able to see the controls. The cameras had NO VIEWFINDER, so the astronaut could only guess at what was being photographed. Each camera had a bulk film magazine holding more than a hundred exposures. The film (mainly Ektachrome color film) had a very narrow exposure range, which required PERFECT aperture and shutter settings, because according to NASA, the cameras did not have automatic exposure capability.

(note the camera was attached to the center of the astronauts spacesuits).

Seems like alot of inconsistancies and other things that seem kinda hard to explain.. |

Just one point though:
If the moon landings were fake, would this not have been great material for the Soviets, with it being at the height of the Cold War? If it was all a hoax, surely Soviet intelligence would have been onto it like a shot and it would have been capitalised upon? |

But was the moon landing already dispelled during the Cold War? :conf: |

I feel like these song lyrics might be relevant to this thread.
Now the song does say they sent a rocket to the moon ..... maybe they meant they sent astronauts ... or maybe they are suggesting the US never really made it there who knows ...
They Might Be Giants - All Alone
Once upon a time, they sent a rocket to the moon
With scientific instruments to test conditions there
But just before they closed the door
One scientist expelled a germ
That accidentally found its way aboard and stowed away
For three years it remained undetected on the moon
It was the only living creature there
"I'm all alone
I'm all alone
Behold the mystery that is me"
Then one day the scientists recovered all their gear
Excited by the prospect of unearthly things inside
They found, to their astonishment, a living thing within
It seemed to bear good tidings from somewhere in outer space
"You're not alone
You're not alone
Behold the mystery that is me"
Soon they figured out the heinous error they had made
And now the earthly germ had something else it seemed to say...
"We're all alone
We're all alone
Behold the mystery
Behold the mystery" |

| Instead of picking random stuff from websites and reaching an obvious conclusion that it was all fake, why don't you take the time out and read how the hoax theories have been debunked by sound scientific explainations ? you will find a lot of websites doing that. |
