Moving tunes from 1 computer to another

| 1 recently upgraded to a new g5 from my old emac. when ive copied the logic tunes from 1 to the other the copied one is played back with none of the files ive used in the exs24, all the loops are not time stretched etc. can somone tell me whats going on as this is not on all the tunes ive copied, only 5 or 6 |

| I don't know if this program works like fruity, but when you load stuff like samples, the files themselves aren't saved with the track, but instead there's a list of references to which folders or subfolders the actual samples are located in, and every time you load the project file, it subsequently loads all the needed samples off your hard drive. If you change the configuration of your directories, it won't be able to find them and it will act as if the files had been deleted. So you have to re-assign every instrument one by one. |
