i'm guessing he doesn't even have much to do with this. i bet dallas superstars just did a new version of it for fun, and then someone thought of releasing it so they got few more mixes to go with it.
don't have to be so negative all the time.. |
Of course Darude had nothing to do with this, that's the problem exactly. These kind of releases are just sad attempts from the label to cash in, it has all to do with artistic creativity or innovation. The labels are afraid of trying new things so they'll just milk the old records for what they're worth and then some. It's releases like this that kill the creativity and innovation there once was in this scene.
It's a bit like best of-albums... except you won't even get the original tracks but some cheap knock-offs.
These remixes weren't made "for fun". They were made because they got paid to do them. |

what makes this even more sad, is Dallas Superstars being the producers of Darude :nervous:

Sadly it won't end until people totally stop buying them. |

Well, i can understand people buying them, who don't have the original yet, as those re-releases (like this one) mostly contain the Original aswell.
Only the people playing and buying (when buying sole mp3) those new remixes and versions should be banned :o |

| after a few years there'll be so many remixes that some guy will take a remix to produce a rework and will end up making sandstorm original :wtf: |

........ .....and the list goes on. |
Its proof because labels are willing to release this crap instead of pulling their pants down and ting on it instead. |

it's pretty funny how all of you are calling em crap before even hear it. personally i'm a little interested in the outcome. dallas superstars have done some quality work and it could be something worthwhile.
who knows? if not, really no biggie. |
