Nice idea, but most music theory books cant teach this kinda thing for much cheaper and instill some knowledge rather than offer quick-fix solutions.

Music theory is easier to learn when you can see the benefit and the results. Mixed In Key and other harmonic mixing software can teach those who are struggling. DJs can learn music theory quicker with human-friendly Windows or Mac OS X software.
DJ Mag and Computer Music UK think that this software is pretty useful. Using harmonic mixing software is like painting a picture when you know what colors you're using. |

All the owners are old TA's. Check out my signup date for example.
We all got our DJ start here... When I started, I was struggling with beatmatching but I always knew that harmonic mixing was awesome. I aspired to mix harmonically from day one. Any software that helps you produce a better set is helpful in my book.
Since we all got started here, it is awesome to get support from our TranceAddict community |

There are hunreds of DJs who key their results by piano after using Mixed In Key. They write that their results are incredibly accurate. We always try to improve the program but there is a limit to what any software can do. We try our hardest to make sure that it benefits as many DJs as possible.

Harmonic mixing is great to learn, regardless of how you do it. Before using Mixed In Key, I key tracks manually with my dad playing the piano. This was quality time spent together. |

forgive me if i dont respect the accuracy from DJs that admit to needing a program to do it for them. like ive posted in the DJ booth- if you cant key them yourself, how can you tell how accurate the program is in the first place? less than 50% correct isnt good enough. ill take qualia's neutral tests over your self-serving spam any day.
mixed in key has not proven it is any better than any of the FREE programs that are available. |
