I inserted a dvd by accident, so it gets stuck and doesn't ejekt.

I find the pin at the bottom of cdj, and push it in...but it seems like something was in the way, so I forced the pin in all th4e way until cd came out.

I pull it out but now icant insert my CDS!!! its like theres a small thing blacking the cd from entering, I can put it in for a few cm, but when it reaches this thing (near the force eject hol) it wont go further!! ahh......

Please help me..

cdj-800 mk2 :(

it is officially not working now.. i can turn it on but if i put a cd in it it won't 'suck it in' or 'sucks it in weakly so that the cd is nnot fully inserted within the player...basically the loading mechanism is f'd up.

I payed 1000 cash for this... at least i got a warranty i just have to pay to ship it there, everything else is free....no other solutions?

Sorry to hear.

There is a little hole for that pin that allows you to insert it and eject cds that get stuck.
Try using the pin again with no disk in to maybe get the tray to sit back down.,

If this doesnt work just send it in for repair.
I wouldnt open it myself if I were you.

But dont tell them you loaded a dvd and this happened.
Just say it stoped working.
Let them figure out why.

Best luck.

Holy crap dude, that's terrible. I wouldn't think a DVD would eff it up like that. I'd expect only a read error message or something. Just make use of the warranty!

call Pioneer
skip
sounds really weird how a dvd can it up as it's the same size as a cd. :conf:

anyway if sticking the pin in the hole and trying to put a cd in and turning it on and off won't help your best choice is to call pioneer and tell them it broke.

sorry to hear something like this happened to you. i know i'd go :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: if something happened to my cdjs!

I'm sorry to hear about that man although I do not own CDJS, call up Pioneer or bring to some electronic shop and see what they can do! Hope it goes fine
HotDogWater
did you try hitting eject?

rustyryan
eek im sorry man.. definitely don't open it, go on the warranty if you still have it.

Hehe thanks mates. I brought it into the shop. They will send it to Pioneer and I just have to pay to ship it the the repair shop, 7-10 business days.

Yea, some people here were telling me NOT to tell them that i put a dvd in (thanks harriz :) )

So in 7-10 days we'll see if they fixed it. :) Damn.. I wonder how much the shipping will cost.

DONT PUT DVDS in your CDJs people....keep them in separate piles (unlike mine..which were mixed)
