Anyone who knows marc houle or has heard any livesets within the last year will recognise the title track instantly, an absolute diamond if you ask me and one that will always get a good reaction from the crowd. Other tracks of note on this release are lachs, ediname and thirds and trees.
While I really like it I don't think it's as fresh as his restore release he brought out back in 04, but then the sound was pretty new to me then. Still worth checking out. I feel bay of figs is let down by a few really really poor tunes like black jack 13 and fat cat.
7.5/10 from me. 10/10 for the title track tho |
