I know what you mean Haunted. I only just signed up 2 weeks ago and part of me is so frustrated at times I feel like cancelling out of it. However I remind myself that its free and over 250k new people sign up every day so I know they are doing the best they can considering their exponential growth. If they are to continue though they need to get the infastructure to support their users.

just got this stupid message

Server Error in '/' Application.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Runtime Error
Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

MySpace sucks and loves to p0wn it's users by serving them tasty dishes of Spyware http://blog.washingtonpost.com/secu...ware_to_mo.html

this generation of myspace teenagers just suddenly lost their sense of privacy. im sure that in time it will backfire on them, it's just an easier way for Big Brother to get you.

edit: or any other stalker/psycho that watches profiles. yeah, getting a myspace account and posting pictures of you and your friends and lifestyle for everyone to see is a brilliant idea:rolleyes:

No, but it's still a lot and is growing as we speak.

Quantity doesn't necessarily mean quality, and I think that more than stands true in this case.

Besides, how many of those registered users truly use the site to build a profile, network, etc. compared to the amount of users that sign-up every day that rarely, if ever will log back in?
Magnus
I signed up only for the music myspace because it is a great tool for musicians to network through. Unfortunately, as of this morning my page has been deleted. Apparently its happening to thousands of people if you look in the forums. Hopefully they can restore it...
