In an attempt to resolve any disagreement surrounding the meaning of the word "God", TPM has assembled a crack team of "metaphysical engineers" who have devised a new computer-modelling virtual environment in which to test the plausibility of different conceptions of God.
Here's how it works. You are invited to select from the list below the attributes which you believe God must have (or the attributes that a being deserving of the name God must have). Metaphysical engineers will then model this conception of God to check out its plausibility. |
I managed to create a couple of possible Gods... but then the system doubted it was actually one :( :p |

| I described man and it said it was perfectly plausible. Not bad. |

| I gots 0.7 on the plausibility scale, it was almost a god, then the engineers asked me why god couldn't demostrate the arithmetic equation 2+2=5. I think my god was just a bit lazy like myself and doesnt like math :p |

Step 1) Use God Generator
Step 2) Make Religion
Step 3) Get Tax Exemption Status
Step 4) ....Profit! |

kinda obviously silly
the plausibility just goes down the more abilities you include |

I never claimed otherwise :p
It does make sense to have the plausibility going down as the abilities go up though. Imagine a common person. How usual is it to see a common person? Now, think of someone who can fly (without any auxiliary device), fight commies, heat coffee just by staring at it, fight nazis, run faster than a cheetah, fight terrorists and win chess tournaments. I think you know what I mean :p |

I only see one question of multiple choice and it ends... |

No, it's that simple: How do you think God is?
Omnipotent (all-powerful, able to do anything), Omnibenevolent (all-loving), Omniscient (all-knowing), The Creator (of all that exists), The Sustainer (if God ceased to exist, so would everything else), Perfectly Free, Eternally Existing (will go on and on and on...), A Personal God (a being with whom one can have a personal relationship)?
These are 8 key characteristics concerning what most people believe God is like (I miss the omnipresent one though). And then you have the answers of why such God could(n't) exist. It's not a life-changing experience or anything, it's just a philosophic toy :) |
