Radio FM Opportunity for me maybe.... CD Labeling?

I recently made some demo CD's and handed them out to people. However a friend of mine knows some execs from a popular radio station here. I gave him the demo (my friend) but he replied later that day with the execs will want to see the tracklist.
So where do I put the tracklist? Should I just print it on the cd itself? Or make a CD Cover to slip into the case. Or just put it on a peice of white paper? What is more profesionally appealing to a radio station (FM) do you think?
I sent an email back to my friend saying I'd do a cover or print them on the cd, depending on what they'd prefer...but I guess he didn't understand because he replied with..."naw, they just want the track names"
Any suggestions? |

| Your friend already gave them the demo, now they want to see the tracklist. Don't bother sending them another CD if they already have a copy I guess is what they are asking. |

I don't think he sent the demo yet.
Just asked him to listen and reply with what he thought. |

| Seems to me that if the CD and TL are separate, they're more likely to get lost from one another. Printing it on the CD sounds good to me. |

| cd lables (the sticker kind) feel cheap and seem a bit unprofessional. If you have a laserwriter on your cd rom drive i would recommend using that. however if you don't. then printing it on a seperate page would be better. You must also keep in mind that cd has the whole in the middle so getting a full tracklist with remix names will be impossible or require very tiny font...therefore printing the tracklist on a the cd itself seems rather impractical |

| how about you print the tracklist on a jewel case sleeve, and then stick the cd and sleeve into the case... that'll look pretty decent. tracklist on the back side and your picture, demo title or whatever on front. |

Whatever you do, don't print it out on a separate sheet. Try to do it using an inkjet or laser printer and print directly onto the CD. Keep it simple. Also, don't forget to write you name and contact info on the CD!!!! That's the most important thing.
If you have to, you can print out the CD labels. You'll be surprised how many promo CDs from big record labels I get like that in the record pools. |

Yea, I already used the 'sticker' kind of label and just peeled them and stuck them onto the cd. I guess I'll go for the jewel case tracklisting or printing it on the cd (which will be hard because i only have black & white and there is a black pic in the bckgrnd)
I never knew you could print things DIRECTLY onto the cd??! |
