Not if there's something else she's interested in that's all night. And she will have to pay full cover if she wants to skip the crappy music.
Seriously, this shift had better just be for the summer when everyone's abroad. Why are they trying to be MORE like all the rest of the ty clubs in NYC that play the exact same format of music? While there are things about Crobar that piss me off, they were tolerable given the talent that they brought in, both in headliners and in openers. Now, that's all gone from 11-2 and the concept of an opening DJ is out the window.
The LA kids bitch about Mark Tabernner who opens @ Avalon LA and drops Usher tracks 20 minutes before Sasha comes on, and now we've got the same . |

yup - i'd have to pay full cover cuz there is no way i'm going waste my time from 11 - 2 at the club - and there are other techno shows on friday that will just as good or better IMO (i.e. bunker for $5 with bruno pronsato and the rebel party for old skool techno for $10/15). and since i really only want to see marco and probably only spinning for 1 1/2 to 2 hours (at most) totally not worth it IMO. |
