*Local DJ to come on afterwards (this is at maybe 3, 4 AM) starts moving equipment towards the end of Steve Porter's set (note: Porter is still on the decks while this is going on, and everybody's going to leave when he's done, anyways).*
*He's carrying a turntable from the front of the stage, & manages to unplug something. The room goes silent.*
*Porter says nothing--just stops, shakes his head, & gives the guy one of the MEANEST glares I've ever seen, while people start scurrying around & fix it about a half minute later.*

After I saw Ferry last year, he came down to sign/talk, was really friendly. Then some really drunk guy comes up & asks him to sign his ticket.
"Sure, man."
As he hands it to him, the guy stumbles and Zidanes Ferry right in the forehead.
Ferry just looks up, "[chuckles] Hey, man. As long as you had fun."
& continues signing it. |
