wondering what you think about it. ive had problems getting it sound proffesional, especially leading up to the break.
it's a classic big roomed trancer, and any ideas on how to improve it would be mucho appriciated |

Avons Calling - let me say first its an interesting track and youve got some good stuff here so dont worry bout sounding professional - ultimately if you get signage, the label rutinely re-masters the tracks, so thats what youre missing, BUT also continue to work on your own mixdown. heres my hints:
kick needs to be matched to bassline. therefore bring kick up a few clicks and bring bass down a few clicks to match them. the progressive feel to the track is cool too, good original sounds. the alarm 2-note sound is particularly cool when it opens and then changes to a 4-note progression which is cool. the 2-3 bar build is pretty decent - i would work on fx usage to round out your mix, theres little or none. and thats okay, you gotta work at first things first. fx usage to lead to break is okay, but maybe blend it into mix better? breakdown is okay but lacking because of no fx and no varfiation in pattern you used. either variate it or bring in a 2 note preview of the ultimate lead for your chorus. the chorus sound is original sounding.. good stuff - not my personal taste for chord progression though. it works ok but i dont know, maybe rework it and pick an entirely different chord progression?
anyways keep up the work cuz it sounds pretty decent. catch yal ater bro
p.s. check out my track if you can and let me know what you think [DRIVING TRANCE] I Am A Fool (To Love You) - Sunrise Mix
