you're welcome to them, another three that are nowhere near good enough for the premiership :stongue:
I'm going to ing love watching Craig Short try and keep up with Thierry Henry :stongue:

Funny how you say that now, yet at the time you Piggies thought Bromby showed such potential that he might one day even play for England! And I am assured (by my Pig flatmate) that Quinn was your best player at the time we took him, and that he was at his best IN the Premiership!

And I'm also gonna love watching Craig Short try and keep up with Henry...and Shevchenko and Crouch and Owen and Rooney...you know why? Cos that means we'll be playing in the Premiership every week infront of 30,000+ every week and our place as the best and biggest team in Yorkshire will be cemented (and I shall think of you sulking when that happens!)

there's no way you'll get 30,000 in that sty every week, as soon as you start getting hammered by everyone, the clowns will go back into the woodwork ;)
Quinn probably was our best player at the time, but it wasn't very difficult was it?

The thing is, our board are quite shrewd. We have sold approx 20,000 - 22,000 season tickets, meaning we only need around 3,000 - 6,000 paying customers on the day (given our away end will hold either 2,500 or 5,500 depending on whether we have the top tier in Bramall Lane). As it's a given that when we play the big teams it will be a sell out, those without season tickets who want to buy as ticket for those games, also have to buy tickets for two games (the ones where people wouldn't want to go that much)

On top of that, you have to add all the Wednesday fans who are now going to watch United...

I'd still say they were pretty shrewd!

"Sheffield United FC is to make its second property play. The club, which has a joint venture with Scarborough Property Group will invest in the £60m office-led St Paul's Square in Bournemouth, Dorset, which received consent this week. The scheme by Scarbough and Rok will provide 120,000 sq ft of offices, 188 flats, and 7,500 sq ft of shops and leisure". Estates Gazette.

We already have properties (in London or Watford I think), are getting a feeder club in Holland and own a Chinese club!

:D

The yahoo fantasy league is finally up and running as well. Personally i like yahoo a lot better because they give you points for pretty much everything and they have no clue about new players so all the new signings are for dirt cheap (Shevchenko cheaper than Collins John etc).

Ive already selected my team for that but if you guys are interested I can set up a private league. Lemme know.

I've just spent two months going over uniteds finances (my finance lecturer is a piggy fan, and shareholder), and whilst I have to commend the purchasing of property and the chinese club, if you don't stay up this season, you'll be ed for a fair few years.
