Hi everyone,
We'd like to invite you all to join us at a special Basic on Friday, August 4th. Not only will we be celebrating resident dj John Do's birthday, but we'll also be donating all proceeds from the night to Sound Art.
Sound Art provides complete contemporary musical education for inner city youth ages 7 - 25 in Los Angeles. Since 2002 Sound Art has served over 7000 inner city kids. Unfortunately, classes have limited spaces – classes can only serve 25 - due to financial constraints. However, they typically have 80-100 kids sign-up for a class, which means they have to turn kids away when they do not have funding. We're really looking forward to raising a lot of money for this worthy organization.
