Wow awesome night.
The dinner was great, as you could tell everybody was just excited to be out and see each other. The food was meh...and not worth the money. KT and Simon kept complaing about the "chicken nugget" sandwiches, which were dry.
My first time to Beba, and I loved it! Nice and small, just the right lighting, and everybody was out to have a good night. Lots of friendly people, smiles and handshakes. Plus $3 drinks! I think Drew and I got our selves in trouble with those 6 cran/vodkas, lol. Chug, Chug, Chug!
All the DJs played great sets. The energy was kept up the whole night, with lots of dancing. Sydney was great (never heard her before), and so nice too! KT didnt play trance, and he had warned us at dinner that he would not do so, which was just fine, because his set was great. His set fit the night and fit the club, so thats all we could really ask for. I've never been the last person on the dance floor before, kinda erie...:nervous:
Maria, it was finally nice to meet you after all these years. BTW - whats the good of being a TA if you dont post ;) |

Ok so the pre meet was such a great idea! big turnout, and some really good convos including some random sober sketchy ones (Dave you're daft!) Time just seemed to fly by the whole night. Beba was empty at first, a little bit too crowded for my likings a bit later, and then perfect near the end. You guys said there was AC? Pfffffffft, I did not feel it!...until I stayed near the back on the dancefloor...ahhh so good. Caught the last few tunes from Adam Green...can't really comment on that. Sydney Blu...my opinion is not biased lol...but she just rocked last night. Didn't hear that many commercial tunes from her...it became pretty dark and dirty quickly, especially when those sexy tribal drums were heard. I think I'm cursed! When I hear tribal, I cannot control my body...or the direction my ass moves! Could be dangerous! lol. It was quite a surprise for FOUR dirty clowns to make it out! :clown:. DCA Invades BEBA! Kenneth Thomas didn't play much if not any trance, which was ok in my books. He dropped some tasty electro tunes and a little bit of tech house which I dig. I dig that ! Not much happened after that.
I was surprised...why did everyone leave so early? Usually you guys stick around until 2 or the end of it all. Pfft! GTs everywhere. Great to see you all and glad to make my return to Beba after cancelling 4 times? heh.
I don't like to do shout outs but I must say...Dannie it was awesome destroying the dancefloor with you all night. You're definately know how to have fun and you should come out more often! ;)
