nice sounds man.
solid kick:) great loop. i was gonna say there are too many low freqs on the loop but then i think it works well.
chanting vocal - omg this is weired. maybe too loud. turn it down in the mix and make it sit in the mix better by applying efx you used on other layers. also play with eq on the vocal so it is more in the background and doesnt mess with the drive too much.
2.30 - the chopped vocal works better now. sounds quieter and doesnt have a bad afect on the drive. maybe a little too background. try somewhere in between.
overall i think keep it basic. takkra beats style:) but get that mixing spot on! boost some highs on the kick for more presence aswell. make the track sparkle:)
loads of potential for a techy prog starter/intro track.

awsome track/ideas,needs a little work.
like rich said some issues with the chanting, but very idea.
The twisted loop is awsome, makes the whole track in my opinion. Think u gotta fatten up the kick giving in more presence, and also play with the kick eq to make it work better with the track. Sounds a bit separated.
I think the track lacks percussion elements though, everytime i think the track is progressing it doesn't. Some hats with some percs that take up different space than the bongos to fill the spectrum.
very cool track though, would love to hear the finished product!
cheers! |
