I see you've included a psy artist here. I happen to love techno and am curious to see how this psy transition came about as well as the rest of the mix. Comments later. |

It looks like you wanted to be a little creative and mix in some tech-house for the first two tracks which, after listening, flowed nicely like water in a pipe. I’m glad you’ve taken advantage of different genres of music. As long as it sounds good I see no reason to limit yourself to techno tracks only. Moving on to the preach-p.ot.s. transition, the mix between those two tracks complimented each other very well since they both were mixed in key. Also good call picking the remix over the original since it is considerably less psy-ish and more techy. To sum up, this set is pretty good and I have no major complaints. I’ll reserve my minor nitpicking comments for another day. You showed a lot of variety in this set and I commend you for a job well done. Thanks for sharing and may you continue to deliver more mixes soon. :)

Once in a while you bump into pieces of their work that aren't strictly psy or not psy at all as the case is with this track. |

I've been pretty busy the last month or so, so i didn't have a great deal of time to complete the mix earlier enough to call it a July mix. Hense the reason i called it my August mix!! ;)
Hope this mix gets the same attention as the June one!! :) |

Wow what I big big mix this is. Has some undeniably superb moments througout that would tear a dance floor apart. I really can't fault the first 57 minutes or so but thought you should have saved some of those excellent mid mix tracks for the end as it really did sound after 57 mins that you had ran out of tracks that you liked and were just filling in the last 20 minutes for the sake of having a near 80 minute mix . I found the last 4 tracks to be not anywhere near the standard of those leading up to them which is a shame for an outro. The problem also was that the level you set in that first 60 mins was so high It was near impossible to keep the great tunes coming.
Excellent mix make no mistkae but you should have pulled the power cord at 57 minutes.
Cheers. |
