auto quantize in cubase sx

hi folks!! can anyone tell me how can i setup cubase , so when i record midi notes with my controller they are automatically alligned or quantized?????

| in the project window on the far top right corner you just drag the little thing down to what you want it quantized to... |

| OR... you could go to the bottom left of the transport window and enable the "Auto Q" function. i'm not sure which quantization it follows though... the project quantization (on the upper right of the sequencer window) or the quantization in the midi editor. by default, i have them both set to 1/8th note and haven't experimented with either of them yet. but yea... turn on "Auto Q" and you'll be rockin'! |
