The poster above has a good idea (from what I could understand from the spelling ;) ).
Instead of a record label I feel it would be better to have a collective of some sort that could help us promote our stuff. It would still mean giving tracks out for free but that way it would be much more focused and would mean more exposure. It would be easy to trade remixes for "releases", sharing connections etc.
With time, who knows what that could evolve to... |
Sounds like TA Unite. Please specify the difference (aside for "trading" remixes) |

Unite is a DJ mix. How does it sound the same? |

It think this is a great idea... But like they said before... No half-finished works.
And maybe even tracks only from more established producers, they who are into the scene a little longer already. There's plenty of talent right here. (I still need to catch up some Al Azar stuff :toothless ) |

In that it's a collection of tracks by TA producers/composers. |

How does that have anything to do with what I posted, exactly? |

so lets put it this way:
every producer is a whore. some are too scared to leave their house, some are trashy, some are stupid...
but if we combine we will be the best dressed damn whores youve ever seen RIGHT THERE out on the corner workin our .
i like... as long as i get to be the silly one |

Even if say all the positions needed to make the label work were filled, including quality control, its only going to be small time producers from this site getting signed.
I cant see anyone having any respect for the label if there arnt any big names supporting it. |

anyone joined to this project??
The idea sounds good in some ways. But have many problems.
Who is the millionaire to relase those tracks?
or can we even get artists signed?
But if noone haven't joined, I can be the A AND R. would be SO fun.
And who will be the angry boss and audio engineer?.
I have listened trance form the age of 12 or so, so I am so IN to this project..but there are still problems anyway. We have 2 guys already?. |

btw, we will not need our own audio engineer actually.
When you start to press (vinyl,cd etc) some places
can also do mastering stage too. |
