Shiiiit, I'm reading along on tribe, and the thread comes down,,,, I'm tooo late!!! OMG I got to like page 5 or 6 and was really getting excited to read more,,, like really, really excited... It would have been crazy to see him get booked at a club here in Toronto... Can you imagine the massive crowd that would show up if this guy actually hit the decks.... yikes!!!

Same here. I was thinking to myself why the hell an International DJ like DJ Hype would even need to steal a mix like that.
but man, I wan't to hear this amazing stolen mix... see if its worth jeopardizing one's credibility as a dj.
but man, this is sad... too many phony and disgraceful djs out there now a days. Not two long ago two djs were caught playing a Pre-Mixed set off a cd at a live gig in a club. in pathetic... and the worst part is that none of these guys seem to regret, care or understand what they've done. |

Mix Correction: One Night Volume .1
An intresting devolpment unfolded yesterday.
Thanks for the heads up first from our friend Nick Kewely and our Webmaster who notices a house mix posted in the forum - I was advised and looked into
it and noticed we uploaded the wrong mix - My first clue something was wrong - Was the freaking file
size - I only cut a 30min mix and this think over 60min. Anway, late last week we posted a new mix
"One Night Volume1". We managed to upload another
mix (Not ours) and we were hammered with spam and
death threats from two forums. My email and Work phone, Employers email, and my Personal website
and cell phone were attacked.
My family's life was threatend over the phone all because of an upload error!
Funny enough the mix only got downloaded 6 times.
But the repercusions out numbered our mistake from
our end.
As many of my listeners and fans know. I spin commercial Hip Hop, Dance, House, Reggae and old school. This mix that was uploaded was underground
I don't spin underground! I'm a commercial dance dj. I've guest dj's some after hours gigs in the past
and I usually buy some tracks off the net or hit
Play Da Records in Toronto for some new tracks that are not regarded as Top 40. When it comes to after hours I'm a fan of Dj's like Carl Cox and alot of
UK dj's that spin harder Electro/House/Minimal Tech sounds.
We download alot of mixs and I enjoy listening to
alot of talent. It's refreshing. But on that note,
we had no intention of posting another dj's mix as ours! We uploaded a file buy mistake and we caught
the mistake and we acknoledge the mistake. We have
not benifited by any of th downloads.
Why would we! Thats not my sound or our sound here.
We made a mistake and we apoligized to the forum
users for the mix up. We still got nailed with threats. It was imature childish insulting that continued well after.
As i'm posting this minute one of the forums have removed thier threads and the other forum is about
to do so as well due to the threats and slander.
Even with the website owners assisting, some users
are continueing to threaten me. My webmaster and
with some special assistance we are currently
tracking IP's and considering a few options that we can't really discuss at the moment.
We are discusted as some of the most childish and
most vicious behavior we've ever witnessed. This wasn't joking, this wasn't a parody - My life and
my family's lives we're threated and thats the
bottom line - All over a dj mix.
That wasn't mine!!!!
With that said i've personally uploaded and linked
the correct originaly intended promotional mix. And
as some people have suggested we have supplied a playlist.

It's a limited download! I really hope people can
grow up a bit - I understand I'm being attacked
also because of a few nuts that really have a hate
on for me - And this has been noted! Yes we know
who you are - We're not retarded! - Everyone seems
to be out for themselfs and don't want to unite to promote the scene together.

Uh Oh!!! Sounds like the wrath of Belleville is gonna rain down... From what I read on Tribe yesterday, one of the fella's emailed him asking about Gleeson's mix, and pretended to want to book him for a gig,,, and the kid responded, without noting that the Gleeson mix wasn't his own... His explanation reads like a true mistake, but with the objective info I got from Tribe, it appears to be a good attempt at a cover-up... Sorry buddy, you got PUNK'D!!
