i think u all know what i mean...the deep, heavy bassline that almost every house track has.
i already have a good grasp of supersaw trance synths, and want to start experimenting with some house sounds. but it would be really great if some people here could help me out in terms of how the house bassline is created.
like what waveform is used, any modulation, filter types and amounts, etc. |

Distorted Sine FTW. |

Mostly Sine, and maybe a saw as an overtone.
On how to write the notes... Well, just get funky with it. |

I always thought of "generic house bassline" as to be a real bass guitar. It usualy is, or i think something really close to it.
I'd start off with accoustic bass presets almost all synths have.
My guess would be its a triangle/sine combination, with a short saw pluck for...well, pluck. |

as said above, sine is useful. |
