If you have a mac you can look into OSEx or mAC3dec, both are free and can rip audio from DVDs or Quicktime.

If it's a DVD ur ripping from... Audacity or Goldwave
You can use either one to record while playing the dvd on ur pc,
ripping all audio and cutting out the wanted part seems a little unnecessary :p |
