Video for Tracking Treasure Down

There may have already been a post for this but...

Not sure if anyone has seen it yet, but it's on Youtube. Two things I noticed:

1. The video was lame, at best.
2. I am assuming that is the Radio edit of the song. Regardless, it is butchered in comparison to the club version.

Thoughts about it?

The cool part is in Dave Dresden's blog about the video on myspace he states, "to celebrate the release of the cd, we have added a bunch of shows in the US during september and october. the first being denver on sept 2nd and san antonio on sept 3rd."

San Antonio!! WEWT!!!

I personally dig it a lot. It looks like a blast filming and I love the facial expressions on Josh and Daves face. The smoke effect was pretty cool too, I doubt that was a cig too ;). Loved it!

Me too. That was part of why I hated the version they used for the video. The cut out and reworked the track and it kept throwing me off. I still love

CLAP CLAP....CLAP....CLAP CLAP.....CLAP

That track really hasn't caught on here in Dallas, so people look at my wife and me like we're nuts when we start going along with the song. But, I put that on one of my mixed and everyone that has heard it just loves that as the final track. In fact, have a listen and tell me what you think. I had this played on a couple of internet radio show.

I guess I was just expecting more because at one point Dave sent an email out on myspace noting open auditions for a female part in the video back in March I think. Still, love the hell out of that track.

the video's positively trippy, and i dig it. from the f-you to the random jumping jacks and smirks, it seems pretty representative of their personalities. been spreading TTD love, too. :) it's unreal when an entire club sings over the tune everywhere they go. pardon the sucky audio, but check out those turnmills lasers

Oh, I totally agree it is their personalities spot on. Like I was saying, I think the email that Dave sent out just threw me for a loop in terms of what to expect. I had this grandiose picture in my head of what Josh and Dave had planned. But, who cares. Nothing could detract from the song itself
