psytrance sure is a genre where the author can only be stopped by his or hers own imagination (like all others though) but bounds to be experimented with, and that you sure have done Alex! Now I am not all too familiar with the psy-genre myself but I've heard my fair share of psy tracks throughout the years (its where my passion for trance started!) And this has everything in the psy-trance recipe necessary for a driving and "jävlaranamma" track! Very good work :)

Uh, dont have any other feedback really since I dont want to review stuff I dont know but you know what I think of your music Alex and I demand you to keep experimenting around as much as you possibly can because thats how you find the best solution to all things :happy2:

Interesting intro. Nice filtering on intro percs.
great bass drum selection
0:40 Sweet lead synth. The ping-pong echo is awesome.
The offbeat driving cymbal could be turned up a tad IMO. The hihat pattern is excellent btw!
Nice gating on the flanged pads. The pads could be thickened up some more IMO. It's a Great layer though...
2:50 Nice variation to the lead synth with the added layer. it would be good to hear more different variations of the lead synth to build it up later in the tune IMO, just an idea to experiment with.

This track has so much potential. Already it is a quality production. I love the structure & the layering is great. Excellent selection of sounds all round. Thanks for sharing Speactra

Xenocreator, Thank you very much, it makes me really happy to see that people are liking my tracks :) I'm taking your ideas with me ;)
Mr Rogers
love'n the filtering effects in the intro..just awsome.
kicks in F'N amazing.
the snare adds a more natural tone to the track.
the silence u have before each kick in is awsome, might have to steal that one ;)
not a huge psy fan, but i find this track more interesting than most,
nice job.

Of course, I'll send it to you when it's done, which will be very soon I guess :)
Thanks!

Taking a listen now...

Kick is solid and has a little hard trance sound to it.
Nice filtering on the instruments.

The percs are a little ticky, but it sounds cool.
The percs are pretty cool sounding.

I definitely agree with adding some more delay and wetness to this track.

I'm liking the melodies. They're not overly complicated or anything. I think they fit the track quite well.

Great choice of sounds and everything. You've really made some great progress.

Good job

spectra? no relation to spectrum i suppose(which by the way kick ass hardcore, especially their new CD...WOW)?

very nice :) great sounds, power, tweaks, everything a good psytrack needs rolled up in a nice package of arrangements.

top marks.

I've had your clip downloaded for a while and I haven't got around to reviewing it yet. Sorry!

Very hard psy stuff.

The elements and noises are really great. Classy psy stuff my friend. Plenty of peak PMW noises to cause brain bleeding. I mean that in a good way.

The thing I am not liking is the low end.

I believe. You are the victim of too much compression maybe. Your bass elements SHOULD be compressed together, but there's no room for pump. And I want to hear some pumping in your bass, because this is such a good track.

A lot of PSY now a days misses the mark I think. A lot of it goes for the standard sounding 1/32th note length bass stabs on every 16th note. And when you compress that too mcuh with your kick. You get this edgy but not very pumpy bass.

I guess if this is your style then stick with it. Because you definately have it down, but I've heard so many basslines like this, I'm not terribly impressed.

Sorry for being a harsh critic, but I except the same level of scruitiny towards my own work. Don't take ANY of this personally, because it's just technical opinion. And besides, I'm no pro yet, I'm still learning.

I do love your work tho, everything seems very well placed in the mix. And I must admit. This track is growing on me. The mould is growing on me! HAH get it... yea... hmm. *coughs awkwardly*

Keep up the great work spectra! I'll be paying more attention to you on the boards.

You gotz da goods. Nice drive for sure. Bassline owns all. Make this track.

Thanks for the great comments guys :) I appreciate it very much!

iloop: hehe, no :) actually i dont even know about them, maybe worth checking out ;)

DJFreaq: I see exactly what you mean, i am no pro producer either but i'll try my best.. I also want it to be more pumpy, so i'll see what i can do :) I do appreciate your comment very much, critics are just good for you ;)

I think it will be completed in the weekend, depends on how tired i am :p
