| Some interesting news.........Now the original Version of "Funk Einsatz - Punk" is out........PvD played it @ Soundgarden the first time ever....at it is named "Ferry Corsten - Punk(Original Mix)". Its different to the one before. I think this version is much better than the one before....... |

| Yeah being titled a Ferry Corsten, production and not another alias, will enable Ferry to put a alot more stuff owt using his own name. This the first time his has appeared under his own name BTW :) |

Is it a lot different than the version that PvD plays at Rosmontags Rave?
I hope so, because I really really don't like that song. It would be a shame if the first thing Ferry produces under his own name is that bad. |

actually i just went to www.satelliterecords.com which is a main promoter of progressive house like humate and bedrock...but...for the first time ever...i saw trance on their front page (ferry corsten-"punk" to be exact) !
i guess they realize this tune is huge and deserves some massive promotion...kinda pisses me off though because now everyone and there mother is going to be playing this song to death...To prevent the overplaying of this track, i suggest the following:
The "Punk" oath:
"I,(dj name here), solemnly swear to abide from excessive play of the massive trancer known as Ferry Corsten - 'Punk' at any live gathering or party atmosphere on vinyl, cd, or any other accesible audio format." |

Yes, PvD played it at Rosenmontags Rave 2002 at the 12 minute mark ;)
And to the post under, yes, Gielen played the extended vocal at Trance Energy 2002.
I love this song...when Bond was over here in Toronto at Guvernment, the people went nuts went the local DJ, Mark Oliver, played it. SICK!! |
