I don't know how many of you work in offices, but at my workplace we have a contact centre the majority of the scumbo amiba brained fools in there purchase gossip magazines.

Just been on a visit to the smoke room, there is a pile of the magazines in there left by big fat gorilla's who smoke redband, why the hell do people waste there money on these things? (I know I can talk wasting money on cigs)Here is a couple of the stories.

-Fran Cosgrave stumbling out of Chinawhites
-Some fat old boiler from Big Brother trying on some new clothes.
-Lose 20 stone on the Chantelle diet
-How to look like some footballers missus
-Evil ex left me a wreck I've got on with my life
-My family are a group on incestious bastards they raped me
-Escape from possesive drug dealer ex boyfriend
-My holiday love Ahmed from Turkey

What possesses people to buy like this? If they want a read why not get a newspaper!

It just proves that the UK has become based on being famous only. I was in the car this morning on the way down south and the news on Radio 1 said that 1 in 7 women would do a topless model shot for £10k

Proves this country is going down the pan!

i get the sun each day...

its sort of a half way between a gossip magazine and a real newspaper:rolleyes:
Grrrrr
The only good thing about those kind of magazine (and the sun) are the problem pages

I always check out the 'Dear Deidre [sp?]' section.

the past few months have been e, but my personal faves from the last 12 months have been:

the one where this guy was with a bird who's parents were nudists and tried to get him to join in :D

the one with the woman who was with a guy who cross dressed :)

the comedy ones are so much better than the 'serious' ones.

haha nothing like a bit of Dear Deidre!

Best one was the bloke who wrote in about his wife she had recently given birth and he was worried about not pleasuring her, the minge was really loose apprantly, the fustrated phrase was used 'It was like getting a sausage up an alleyway' :stongue:

I just do not understand what motivates people to buy these magazines for a starters the ones I know are dirty fat boilers. It's full of the Z list of Z list people walking out the funky buddha nightclub some glamour model with some Z list celebrity 3 in one 3rd division footballer haircuts.

People like to read about people who have stuff going on, they see celebrities as a different species or something i swear when they are just like themselves but with more cash and probably abit more talent, I think its the glamour thing.

I mean as a trance fan I have idols but dont go around looking for press shots of them on a beach or coming out of chinawhites and they share a skill I admire and havent just been on TV or whatever.

lol its a shame but more than half the country likes that (mostly women).

watever
