I believe it is illegal to play moving video in front of the driver's seat. At least in Ontario it is. Decks with screens have a wire that connect to the handbrake so that you have to be parked in order for it to play video. This is usually circumvented by the installer.
I have a screen in my car and there's no way I'm about to have it out if there's a cop around. |

| Here in germany all the screens in front of the driver are blacked out as soon as the car begins to drive (sound plays tho). When it stops, the image appears again. |
