Yeah, you are totally right. How could I not see that. I've driven that path like 500 times. The turns on tehw ayt to Stinson Beach or Muir Woods are scarryyyy.
House could be from lots of places over in east bay (Berkely down to San Leandro). Actually could be in a few places up north, too. |

Ok ok, the video is not that bad guys. Its creepy, yes, but for how much it prolly cost to make, its a great amatuer video, and its edited very well. Molly could look a lot better... but in terms of an EDM music video, its up to par with the majority of them.
Cant you see they are tracking down treasure in stinson beach geez. All they wanted to do is sing on the way there! |

I thought Dave said their goal was to originally film most of the video at EDC, but I guess that didn't happen or maybe they didn't like the results.
Yes, this final product was quite interesting to say the least. I really do love the part where Molly's head is editted to bop to the beat. Cool stuff. |

| i liked the road shots but they could have done much better with the rest of it. "tracking treasure down"... so what is this music video saying...? treasure = excitement/fun/happiness? cause they look pretty bored and dettached. i'd put them in a 63 cadillac convertible, an opentop jeep or even an old school yellow bus, and split the driving shots around with shots of them actually interacting/doing stuff in the car and looking like they're having fun, maybe even tracking something down. this looks like molly is singing to herself and g&d are sitting uninterested and distant like they're have a fight :stongue: if tracking treasure down is supposed to be a fun song, they should be having fun in the video and it should be sunny and nice out, not somber and cold. i'm no film/production major, but that's my 2 cents... |

Lex,
Tracking Treasure Down means the guy is out there looking for something better. You are right, Molly is singing it to herself and the guys are detached, they are pretty much ignoring her and looking out the window. He keeps her thinking everything is peachy keen and has her living in a fairy tail with pirate ships, while he is out looking for the treasure (another woman). Even though Molly is singing it, it can pretty much be meant for a woman or a guy. Both woman and men have the capability to track treasure down. |
