new order - blauer montag (hardfloor, of course) ... sounds like the original but adds the acid to it
mory kante - yeke yeke (hardfloor) ... i prefer the original house mixes from the 80s but the hardfloor mix puts a smile on my face too
i'm not the biggest fan of hardfloor or that particular sound of acid but the reason why i like both of these is that the original wasn't altered so much that it doesn't even sound like the same song anymore. yeah, i liked new order's confusion pump panel but it was originally released as a pump panel track and not new order.
oh man, how could i forget:
OMD souvenir (moby remix edit ... the one on the CD5, not the vinyl remixes) ... a beautiful remix that is better than the original |
