Euro champs? That's the funniest line I've seen for awhile. Like this is football or something.
Lebron + Wade (2 best players in the world) + hot Melo + role guys + D + more team approach = no chance for Greece.

I love when people think I am serious.

i always kind of hoped that they would send the harlem globetrotters to one of these tournaments. i doubt they would do good but they would put on a hell of show. the half court bank shot is just :eyespop:
are you guys really the EURO champs? i didnt know they had a tournament for that. i couldnt watch the game this morning but during the game against australia the announcers said that no one would recognize any of the greek players but they play a well balanced game.

Yes in 2 years we won the EURO cup in football and basketball.
btw Spanoulis is playing at NBA this year, he is one of the most famous players of our team.

Yes, there's basketball out of the US. And Greece is the champion in a continent where fundamentals, and team ethic is still the most important: great teams win playing team basketball (with well known players or not), unlike the ones with one superstar and no team play (even if those teams are the ones that get the attention in the US, see Germany).

I thought we were just having fun there, talking smack back and forth.... don't take me seriously either. :p
I like you Cloud just because I know you are a Man U fan. That I dig.
My point is that I think the U.S. is playing more like a team this championship. It wasn't merely a collection of all-stars thrown together at the last minute like the past years, there was some role players involved and there was tryouts to make the team. It's a work in progress but the U.S. has the most talent if they can put the team/chemistry equation together.

If you think to see fundamentals and team ethics don't exist in the states, you're dead wrong. Look up American College Basketball. The rules are closer to the international rules than the NBA. Many of the successful programs are forced to play a team game in order to succeed.
If you take a look at Duke, they consistently win year in and out since they adhere to playing fundamentals and a team oriented plan. They are also are well known for producing players who flat out suck donkey balls in the NBA.

Yes, college basketball is another world (regarding fans/supporters too). The problem is in the NBA.

Is this the same USA everyone is talking about?
