Mr Sam Solo Album LYTEO has been released all around the world and is still gaining momentum as we speak. The 14 original tracks from the album defines Mr Sam as a true artist.
Due to the success of the album, Black Hole Recordings will release a limited remixed Album called "Interpretations". This will result as a true selection of unreleased remixes together with the existing remixes of the previous singles but also with original bonus tracks.
To celebrate this and in promotion of the release, Black Hole Recordings is proud to announce that they are hosting the "Mr Sam Remix Contest". Get your record internationally released on Black Hole Recordings and features on Mr Sam's Lyteo « Interpretations » Album.
Mr Sam & Black Hole Recordings are inviting upcoming or established producers to remix "Lodestar" featuring Kirsty Hawkshaw from Mr Sam's Solo Album « Lyteo ».
It will be the first time ever that it will be possible to rework a Kirsty Hawkshaw or Mr sam’s track.
The contest begins on August 1st 2006 and ends on October 1st 2006.
All remix entries must be send to and
All remixes must be send using e.g. Yousendit.com or dropload.com in 320 Kbits MP3 format.
The winner of the remix competition will see his or her remix released on Mr Sam Lyteo « Interpretations » Album and receive a Black Hole record bag filled with cd's, vinyls and merchandise.
The contest winner will be chosen by Mr Sam himself and will be announced on the Black Hole site on October 10th 2006.
So take your chance and download the remix parts and get to work on your own remix of "Lodestar".

| wow Nice contest, the remix pack is a bit heacy tho, and it makes it heavier with the transfer speed at 28 Kb/Sec |

More than 200MB? Is that necessary?! :( ,
No chance for me and my slow max. 8kb/sec connection :whip: :(
Can't imagine what this package contains of! - accapella, some midis, perhaps some fx-samples... that's all enough for a remix imo. Can someone tell me what's in the zipfile? |

| Dont know exactly whats in it since I still have to download it, but my best guess is Accapellas in wav (offcourse for the quality) a wav sample of the original track, midi's and some FX or loose parts. |

you've got a very strange kind of humour.
I don't know the original track - perhaps there're many vocal parts in it. is it possible for someone to upload only the midis and accapellas in 192kbps mp3? Would be great!:toothless |
