I'm posting it in the Music discussion forum since I'm not really meaning to showcase anything with this mix. I'd rather want to share a chillout session for you all - one that is bound to give you somewhat of an emotional roller coaster ride - at least it does the trick for me. If the mods don't find this to be appropriate for this forum then you may move it to whereever you may find it suitable. This session is hugely influenced and inspired by Montana's "Four phases through a dub experience" (Can't find the link to it atm, feel free to add it). I know a lot of people enjoyed that one, and that's why I wanted to share this one with you all. If you liked Montana's mix, I'm certain that you'll like this one as well. :) Enjoy! PETRAN Wow, this mortal coil.These guys are really good and the whole "It'll end in tears" album was excellent. 4AD, was releasing some excellent ethereal/avant-garde music in the beginning/middle 80s e.g. dead can dance, cocteau twins, clan of xymox... Anyway this mix looks good, but lot's of angelo badalamenti...i mean what's the point of making a chill-out mix which is almost comprised by one artist?This is almost like a best-of with a few random well-known chilled tracks thrown in.Anyway...it's good. This is really easy listening and to me intelligent, if that make sense. What would be cool is if you put together a set like this that went with a movie and the scenes, that would be special. Laszlo Thanks for the inputs - I've been having some thoughts about putting together a mix like the one you mentioned. Keep your eyes open :) Lebezniatnikov ugh, I hated Closer. Worst. movie. ever. EDIT: Match Point had the same basic set-up with much more realistic characters and much more imagination in the ending. FAR more enjoyable.
