I don't know the Martin Roth remix, so I can't tell you if I know how to produce the sound you are looking for. But maybe you could post a short sample of the sound? One thing though, if the sound is a part of the original version too, you could go the the forum on the Thrillseekers website.
Here he kindly shares lots of infos on what gear he uses, how he gets certain sounds etc. Maybe you could post the question there, if you will...
