I love BoC - 69er, (only song i recognize :p )

edit: recognize the one after also! yes, quite a timeless tune
Allied Nations
Thanks for the interest so far, would love to know more opinions about the mix.

Cheers!

i like this mix, lots of great tunes that i didn't know previously. That Paris tune seems really up to date with its lyrics.
Suprisingly the mix carries a sad overtone, even though its summery.
Radio mixing didn't bother me that much, those tunes are really hard to mix together.

Cheers stren! I like your review... I don't know about sad, but possible melancholic? I suppose it was compiled AFTER I left the Island which made me a bit nostaligiac.. :p

You dropped hints about this set to me the other day in a thread the other day and I forgot to tell you that I've already listened to it. All I remember about this set is that it wasn't my cup of tea at all which is strange since I love chillout music or more specifically chillout trance. It is because of this reason that I will not rate your mix this time around, sorry. It would be unfair to do so otherwise.

Ahh this isn't chillout trance AT ALL. :p well.. apart from the second tune, which is more like chillout prog-

No worries mate, it seems you and I are both on a completely different vein.
montana
tunes are good, but in terms of mixing & flow it's just not clicking with me, not your best effort greg. good try tho.

Ok, here's the fun bit. I get to explain why the mixing is very... hmm... not good?

Acid is really a program to work with for making a full length mix, especially when the tempo varies SO much with these tunes.

I'm not saying this is any excuse, just feel my pain. :p

well this is what i use to make my 80s and euro compilations.. its not easy it definatley does take time.. but the program gives you alot of options. you can always manually manipulate the pitch by chopping up the wave.
Az
listened to this twice at work now, top top tunes, kind of agree with montana with the flow, tunes are ing wicked though
