It's a question of taste, and sometimes coincidence. Honestly, I wasn't aware at all what was Seb Fontaine was playing recently, I coudl have made that mistake 10 times during my opening set without knowing it.

I totally see your point, and what you are saying is true...Coincidence does happen, but as Maher said, I also feel it requires research when you're opening for an intl. DJ...But, just my 2 cents :)
If he would have played Sexyback I'd have been like :wtf: :p
I hope you had a good time Martin! I remember you leaving early, but what were your thoughts on Lawler's set? |

Careful research yes, psychic powers... no. Its diffuclt to anticipate exactly what a DJ is going to play, especially since DJs change their styles depending on venue/city/mood even.
Also while listening to lots of livesets of the DJ you're opening for is prolly a really good thing to do... Err, not like you can memorize each track they play and what not... Although stealing the headliners bombs would be a huge taboo me thinks, like if Nick Pilon were to drop Rock your body rock before Ferry came on, errrrrrrrr...
But ya, who cares about all that, whats on everyone's mind is.... DID HE PLAY ZEN-KEI - THE PUNISHER???????? OMFG SOMEOME PLZ TELL ME! |

It's the easiest thing in the world.
Go to www.imagethrust.com
Click "browse", select the image u wanna host. click: "upload image"
When it uploads, copy the "Hotlink for forums" one. Paste it here. and Voila :) |
