kimbo is a beast , the name of that future UFC fighter that beat him is Gannon. I've seen that fight and the reason he won is becuase he held Kimbo in an elevated headlock for over a minute which were not breaking the rules. And a serious headlock like that when applied to the neck can take anyone breath/stamina away. So in reality Gannon cheated by breaking the rules.

Sean Gannon. Also a Cop and I believe either a two time Karate or Judo champion.
He was signed to UFC after the fight, got his ass beat, and has been despised by much of the MMA community because of his "illegal street fight" with kimbo.

Except he didn't cheat as the rules appeared to state no ground submissions. Gannon had Kimbo in a standing guillotine choke before Kimbos posse jumped in. The rules also seem to state no kicking. Yet again Kimbos crew got upset & started shoving Gannon for use of the knee. Gannon talked openly about it on his website but Kimbo has never spoken about it.
