Groovy first track! First mix was very solid, ever so slightly off, but I'm sure next to one could tell.
This second track is downright haunting and sexy......great choice!
Second mix comes in at a great time, once again, beatmatching is very tight! Might have come apart slightly near the end...
So far, EQing is mint, great work! Beat is getting funky, making me dance in my chair!
Third Mix is TIGHT, best mix yet in my opinion, deep and chuggy again.
Fourth Mix is slightly off, sounds like you were adjusting ever so slightly, still decent energy at this point. Comes apart near the end...
Love the fifth mix, the contrast in sounds is perfect, great ear!
Sixth mix is once again flawless on the EQing, tracks come apart, you fixed it up QUICK! Well done!
Seventh mix comes in soooooooooo smoothly, best fade-in you've had yet! Solid mix....this next track has loads of soul...
EQing is off on the next mix, The lows overpower the track you've currently got playing, but the mix is otherwise solid.
Crazy beats now (1:05:50ish)............Loving this...
A track you may want to look at is Ad Finem - Angel (MAS Vocal Mix) (would go perfectly with the current feel of the set, infuses some soft vocals that are absolutely powerful.
Eigth Mix is off at times, but I can hear your ear at work while you fix the mix. Solid EQing again...
Nice effects, I think it sounds like you were cutting the mids out....?
Neat way to fade out, sounds a little off because it isnt perfectly linear....but eh, good work!
Overall, the set was fantastic! I am a huge Trance Lover, although I appreciate anything with skill. This set was chockfull of talent. Hard to believe you have only been mixing for 6 months, you are obviously a quick learner.
Your EQing is very good, definitely the strong point of the set. Your beatmatching is a little off here and there, but that will come with time and practice. You've already made huge inroads in that dept.
The tracks were great overall, there wasn't much progression, but it also wasnt disorganized.
Score: 7/10

Thanks for your feedback dude, greatly appreciated.
What did you think of the rest of it ? |
The rest was good too; really all over the place in terms of sound, but that's not a bad thing. Being versatile is always good, and nowadays it's good to have a wide range of sounds at your disposal. I especially love the track at 31:00, although you could've brought it in a little slower (maybe do a loop on the previous track and bring in the following track very smoothly).
I especially loved the tunes you were playing from the 43 minute on-wards. Much deeper, but still held onto that electro vibe a little bit. Wrapped it up quite nicely I must say. It's too bad you had to turn it off though, cause I love the track that you finished with. |

I'm glad you finally came out with a mix dude. Although I've heard these tracks at Umar's, it's nice to able to now hear them whenever I want. The above quote are my favourite 3. |

Thanks a lot for taking the time to give your two cents brother. I really appreciate the feedback, and the track suggestion. My biggest surprise was your comments on my EQ'ing, as it always in my opinion has been my weakness. It has been my focus recently, and glad to hear you thought it was my strength rather than a letdown!
Cheers bro!
