i'm thinking about buying a novation remote 25. now, because the faders arent motorised, when youre using them to control mixer channels every time you start a new project youre going to have a problem correct?

how do u deal with this?

i've recently moved over from fl to cubase and i want a decent midi controller because its a pain in the ass to do anything with cubases ty gui :P

other alternative is to get a BCF-2000, or can anyone recommend any other controllers i should look into?

thanks!

I've got a remote 25 and i regret buying it, simply because it doesn't have enough keys to write good melodies. Otherwise it's a pretty nice controller. Seriously think about getting one with more than 2 octaves!!

If you want to control the mixer channels, anything with Mackie Conrol Emulation will work wonders. Basically, the MIDI controller will work just like the Mackie Control and you'll have access to select/solo/mute buttons, pan knob (assignable), transport controls, and the magical flying faders. I have the Behringer BCF2000 and it works very well minus a few minor bugs when working in Cubase. M-Audio's ProjectMix I/O also has Mackie Control as well. Hope this helped.
