Hey mates,
Some friends and I are planning on throwing a production of events in China next year and would like to speak to a few people who have actually been out there and/or have a good knowledge of the scene out there. Since there's no tranceaddict ASIA forum and Aussies are close in proximity to the area, figured this would be a great place to hitch some trance-loving travelers.
So, any input??
Thanks!! |

| the clubs all have strict curfews and all songs must be authorised before hand by the local communist party member. no dancing is allowed, except for the chinese national anthem, which is played before each dj begins their set. |

| I went to a great party in Beijing back in '89, although the door policy was a bit strict. I mean I know that they have an image to maintain, but it seems pretty harsh to start running people over in tanks just because they aren't wearing red... |

Wow.. even simple non-vocal tracks? How dated is this information anyway? Have you been there? And no dancing allowed??? So what do they do? How are trance/electronic dance shows in general? The area will most probably be in is Nimgbo/Hangzhou, or a surrounding area.
Maybe we should prepare a hard trance mix of the Chinese national anthem ;).
Thanks for your useful input! |

| judging from what a mate said after he came back from studying there for 6 months, i would say there is little or no EDM scene there. |
