ok first of all I did search the forum :D didn't come up with anything.

I'm looking to buy quality fx cd's, that will mainly be used for uplifting/prog trance productions.
and I'm not looking for something like VEC vol 1, there's crappy fx in there (though some good percussion samples).

so..thanks.

try go to http://dorumalaia2.com/

he has some free FX kits along with a CRAP LOAD of samples :D

Vengeance FX?
ronk
thanks, I'll check them out.

any more recommendations?

Yeah vengeance has some good fx on their cd but I found their drumsamples more useful.

Also, it really pays off to experiment with a synth and program them yourself. Lfo and modulation matrices are your friends for fx programming.

He said he wanted to produce uplifting Trance... really "uplifting" those Zombie grunts and Ghost whispers

you could check out some stuff from www.sound-ideas.com though, their sample CDs are the absolute reference.

Try to make your own instead, with a little practice, its not that hard... read about i.e synthesis to learn more about it if you're new to programming synths.

thanks for the replies, I'll check this sound-ideas website too.

I'm not new to programming synths, at all, but I'm too lazy for that :p
I want ready-to-use fx stuff, the rest of my tracks I allways produce by myself. I hear a lot of fx samples in pro's tunes (Arizona, Passiva, J00F, Mike Shiver and I think Airbase too). I just want similar quality fx's.

edit: holy crap, there's like a million cds in that web site. I'm gonna have hours of browsing..thanks :D
