First things first I'd like to thank everyone who made it out and helped make this party what it was... I feel like it was you TAs that were ramming the Downstairs all night and rocking the floor... it was you guys who made that room as hot as it was :P
now onto some voiced concerns which will all be taken seriously and noted for future events there.
1. Water and refilling- NEVER LET A BOUNCER TELL YOU YOU CAN'T FILL A BOTTLE. If that ever happens at an event of mine you attend please go to the door and let that person know and tell them to find me.. or find me yourself. I will rectify the situation. That is illegal and will never be tolerated by me.
2. Sorry it was so hot but it was because you were all dancing so hard. That room unfortunatly traps heat a bit and we'll talk to the managment about turing up the ac more... be grateful you weren't in the booth... the amps were so hot it killed us at the beginning of the night. I ended up chilling upstairs for the better part of the night and missed the sauna... I love the hot sweaty club nights though... LOVE it!
3. Floors... I like em... not much to be said... sorry to hear about your knees... sure nothing more was involved to cause that ;)
4. SOUND- Pissed me off and we tlaked to managment about it... the night started out well but the more wear and tear the system took the more tired the speakers got... hence the distortion sometimes... sorry again... apparently they never have a sound guy on hand throughout the night and it will be something that will be looked into... I know it got shotty at times and we were trying our best to keep it level.
UPSTAIRS & BAR staff-As for upstairs... you may have noticed the massive room off behind the bar upstairs... that was supposed to be the upper room... Evan from Activate and Ryan from email discovered that afternoon that unfortunatly they did not have enough staff to handle opening the big room(or the handle the rest of the clubs bar IMO) so we were stuck with the smaller areas... we made good use of what we had I think and thankfully the line to get up never got out of hand for too long and everything flowed fairly well...
drinks... ya I know... most clubs sit around those prices though... they need more variety in domestic beer I think.
anyway... all in all a successful night and we look forward to bringing you big things and more of this calibre and better(production wise) in the months to come.
Thanks again,
JustinTyce

maybe cuz I had these pre-set expectation I was disappointed with Jelo cuz he defiantly didn't play to his regular level of intensity |
well i can't comment on his set as I was too busy running around taking care of things, but Jelo was involved in a serious car accident earlier that day. We're just glad he made it out okay!having him still manage to switch to a later flight and come throw down still was a bonus. |

well Justin...
the main reason why there was such a distortion was cos of all the ratlling with the a/c vents and the sound consistantly bouncing all over the place...the fraction of a second delay caused created that distortion.
+ the speakers were way too loud for that place.
the floor upstairs was rattling to the beat below cos the ceilings downstairs arent padded. if the club gives a damn about sound, then they need to fix all these bits and pieces. |

well that may have been part of the problem... but not completely.
I've often been in clubs loud enough to shake the floor above.
Th reality is the longer a sound system that isn't necessarily designed to pump as loud as we were for as long as we were is, thesystem itself starts to liteally get tired... red lining amps that need attention... the natural progression during a night of djs who each tweak the system a little bit more...
what they need more than anything is a sound guy on site.
rattle or no rattle... having one there will help out. |

- I don't want to mention this, but camera flashes in a dark small club that has none of those spinny lights of the bigger clubs are a BIG NO-NO. It left me completely disoriented a couple of times, and was basically just plain ing annoying. |

| You would think I'm used to camera flashes, but i'm not. It's everywhere YOU GO!!! Unfortunately, it's something we just have to suck up and deal with. :whip: |

WHY WAS THE WATER $2.50 downstairs and $3 upstairs????? how does that make sense.... nice scam they came up w/ to make you buy two seperate bottles though!lol impressive
"so what you're saying is I CAN"T walk up the stairs w/ my water?" riiight... must be the safety factor |
