I used to like the original track "The Shadows - Apache" from the 60s and the Incredible Bongo Band's remake in the 70s wasn't half bad either.
But then it was taken into EDM.. exactly a year ago when Switch first released the original mix of "A Bit Patchy" i was kinda thrilled to hear "Apache" being sampled.. usually tracks like these sample much better known globally massive hits from the past. Not surprised a few months back it got a bunch of new remixes (incl. Prydz Mix) of which none really compare to Switch's original.. even if they do work like charm in clubs. |

Wtf my reply is gone :conf:
Anyway, the Prydz mix is overrated as imo. Nothing special in my book. |

| Switch has done much better work than this. Prydz remix is a typical swedish mchouse track, and overrated as all other Prydz productions too. Nothing Special, but it's better than his remix of Paolo Mojo, which was horrible. Original and Beatthiefs mixes are funny. |

the prydz remix is a slayer. you can argue otherwise, but you can't argue with the damage it does on the dancefloors. Same formula as the 1983 rmx but definitely the better track of the two. And this sounds nothing like anything by the rest of the swedish mafia. The mastering and sound quality is absolutely mint as well. |

| The beatthiefs is the best remix imo. |
