that's the whole point of travelling...to SEE and experience new places, not to become an expert about wherever you go. sure, u could if u wanted to, but it shouldn't be a requirement upon one's return. |

You brought of travel as proof that you were cultured, I'm mearly stating that well cultured and well travelled are not the same thing. |

not saying anyting personal about you, but in general when i meet americans abroad while im traveling.... they are usually hunting for a mcdonalds.....
ps this was a true story..... some lady came up to me in florence and asked me if i knew where a mcdonalds was.....
i mean come on its florence, you can suck back a greaseball burger from mcdicks any day of the week back home in arkansas..... |

hey in japan's mcdonald's there's a teryaki burger that they dont offer in the U.S. :p
the LAST thing i would look for in a foreign country is a mcdonald's. lol i dont even eat that when i'm here.:p one of my favorite parts of travelling to other places/countries is to try the food....everyone knows (or should know by now) how much i love food with all my dumb bbq/cooking threads:crazy: |
