| i think im finally awake.. slept all yesterday... let be mr. obvious and say once again it was awesome. thanks sebby for hosting it. I was suprised with the good spinning and the flow of the night was good. the drive was long as hell, but defintely worth it... there were lots a good tracks i never heard before which isnt a real suprise being that i am somewhat deprived... well ill see yall around and maybe next time ill throw down some stuff. |

Dude! Really great to have you, seriouslly you had the MOST energy out of anyone there. the whole night you were on the "dancefloor" I really hope to see you at upcomming events :D |

Sorry I didn't writet his week til a week later. I am a terrible procastinator and I have been busy packing for school and researching into colleges.
Here goes. Sebby's place was completely awesome! Its such a chill place. Pablo & I got there early to help setup the party around noon. We went shopping with Sebby and got chips and drinks.
(Thank you so much Sebby for letting us use your place for the party!)
The first group of people got there around 2PM. We didn't have speakers so we were waiting on Clovis and he got there around 3-4PM. So the party didn't really start til Clovis got there. We were just chatting.
Then I think Lomeli was the first person to spin (on Traktor I think). I was told it was going to be minimal techno set & I thought the genre sounded boring. But there was nothing minimal about Renee's set! It was crazy techno, sounds I have never heard before & some minimal house. That set blew my mind.
After Chris (thrax) played a great House set on Ableton. I loved it it was very funky. He ended it with Moonlight Party! That made me dance a lot.
Next Clovis played a great set. Then I don't remember who spun. But I think it might have been Xtracktor & Boomer & they played an awesome prog set! It was probably the best set the whole night. It had me dancing a lot. Xtracktor played Deep Dish-Dreams which is my favorite song (which I had requested :P).
Then the two 18 year old guys (who brought the DJM-800) played. I can't remember their names right now. One of them played a great melodic/uplifiting set with a great track selection. I think my favorite song from that set was when he played Bob Marley - Sun Is Shining(Maori Levi Remix). That was a woot! moment.
The second to last set was Dimmensions & some guy(can't remember his name was tall though)'s tag team set. They played some great uplifting trance. It was pretty good. I loved when Dimmensions played Hammer & Bennett - Language(Santiago Nino Dub Tech Mix). One of the amps got fried during the end of the set. But they managed to fix it.
Last Electrophile played an amazing NeoPsyTrance set. It definitely blew my mind. He started out with Dickster - Dizzy Drops which is the first song on JOOF's set live at colousfest. He played an obscure remix of Chemical Brothers - Hey Boy, Hey Girl. It was great stuff.
The flow of the sets that night was perfect. The DJs I give 5 stars. They played some great sets.
The majority of people there were DJs. :P The Female to Male ratio was 3:30. It was funny cause everytime someone played a set there were like five guys watching near the decks. Clovis helped a bunch of people out.
Most interesting moment was when I met Gypsygirl she brought out a bottle of Everclear and that was her first drink. She was very nice & talkative the whole time & she is a huge fan of JOOF. So that makes her awesome in my book.
I am so glad I met all those great people. Thanks to Ben, Chris(thrax), the 2 18 year old guys, Fusic, Gerard, Henry V, Renee & friends, Clovis, Electrophile & his girlfriend, Boomer & his girlfriend, Gypsygirl, Sweetcandygirl(too bad she left early), Monjapan, Dimmensions, Xtracktor, Sebby, Kevin(sebby's cool friend) & all of sebby's pals that came, and anyone that i couldn't remember your name. I had so much fun meeting TAs. And all the TAs I met were awesome.
I am sorry this post is so long I tend to write posts in detail. I had a great time and that was a party remember!
