I apologize for coming across as upset or a "twat" in the last thread. Unfortunately, I allowed a comment from someone else in another thread to carry into the last thread I made...one of my soldiers died in front of my serving not only the US but the country of Afghanistan, and I didn't appreciate the generalization that all US soldiers are basically worthless.
As for your hypocrisy statement, I am sure it is a long fall from some of these people's high horse. |

Jesus Christ, stop being such a hippy man. You cant blame him for the war. He is just a soldier, trying to do his job. He happends to agree with it, so be it. Also, I think that the invasion of Afghanistan isjustifided, from the 9/11 attacks, so stfu with your idiotic hippie views. |

Fair enough, my only point is that not everyone knows all the rules, all the time. If someone had pointed him in the proper direction intially, none of this mess would have occurred in the first place.
Unfortunately, it appears that ego/arrogance on both sides of the argument prohibited this from ever reaching a reasonable resolution.
Matth3w, perhaps you need to learn proper ettiquette on TA before hunting down items like this. It certainly is easy to attain them, however, your best bet is, as Konjin pointed out, to find someone (perhaps in the tracklisting forum ;)) who is clearly an avid ASOT head, and PM them regarding information on obtaining the sets you seek. Beyond that, keeping anything political/cultural out of Music Discussion is always well appreciated.
The rest of us, myself undoubtedly included, should perhaps try to be a bit more direct with people who clearly don't understand the desired conduct for these forums. I realize that the knee jerk reaction is often to chastize or "flame" someone regarding a poor choice in post, or poor taste/conduct on the forums, however I think we would honestly have fewer issues like this if any kind of helpful insight was added as opposed to nothing at all or insults.
Just my .02 - I'm as guilty of any of this as anyone. |

Well, unfortunately he is slightly misinformed about his own country. Furthermore, you obviously don't know what the Americans and other members of ISAF do for this country. Between building roads, schools, aid, food, water, jobs, etc....I don't even need to continue.

Thank you, I appreciate the more mature responses. For now I am going to try to locate an ASOT head but if you know of any specifc ones on this board that would be great if you could pm me.
I also emailed AvB, we have spoken since I have been here occasionally and see what he can do as well.
In the end, I am just trying to hear some of my favorite music. |

I really don't see a problem with the last post you quoted. I was informing him of a few facts he had incorrect. We do a lot of work here, spend millions of dollars building roads, teaching children, providing water, providing electricity, etc. As for the last comment in the post, I feel it was pretty well deserved after the way he acts. Calling me a twat and other things while telling me I do not appear great on this board is a bit of a joke. |
