Lauren, retiring from here over someone complaining about some 'anonymous' promotional text msg's to their phone is just silly. Its not like he attacked you knowing it was you from the beginning. Liam did not post "hey, go f*ck with Lauren cuz she's sending me msgs", it was a general comment.
People are bombarded with advertising daily in their mailboxes, email accounts, on msg boards, from telemarketers, etc... You can't be surprised that people are upset about receiving text messages on their phones now as well, because aside from the cost that could be associated with it, one would hope that their cell phone account would be one of the few places where you're 'safe' from all the ads.
I hope you change your mind and stick around, and realize that what transpired was nothing personal, and maybe rethink your policy on msg'ing cell phones w/something that could be sent in an email. |

L...be strong. Sometimes ppl just can't understand how hurtful thier actions can be. I know it hurts more knowing their faces. Especially when you've turned stones for them and gotten them on guestlists or what not. It's hard to trust ppl again after you've been hurt by them. So take a step back and remind yourself that it's them who have the problem and not you. If they weren't mature enuf to talk things thru with you amicably or respectfully...then they don't deserve your respect. Now is the time when your going to discover who the real posers are.
My suggestion is to take a break if you have to...but don't let them or even worse...the slimey competitive snakes take you away from---> the environment, the music and the friends that you love. This is your home.
