Press release:

You can not talk about Tech-House without mentioning the name Terry Lee Brown Junior. For the pretty long time of 10 years, Terry is an electronic music artist. He used every year to improve his sounds, his arrangements and his unique flavour. If you are listening to his new Album, you can feel every single heartbeat, every single thought, he has invested in his work.

Terry Lee Brown Junior is not one of those artists, who are adding one simple beat to another, he is that type of producer, who opens his heart to his audience, adding all his passion and love to his compositions. It is not the easiest way, but if you hear the result, you know it's worth it. Because of all that passion, Terry Lee Brown Junior is investing into his music, it is no surprise at all, that he has been considered as a member of the international elite of house producers for years. Like no other, he has developed the subgenre Tech-House.

In the USA and England, his first three albums became successes of note and the media got a surprise when they found out, Terry Lee Brown Junior is actually a German. Today Terry Lee Brown Junior is one of the most happening and respected House artists. After a long album break of 6 years, now it is time to introduce his new Album: "Karambolage".

For an artist like Terry Lee Brown Junior, the expectations are very high, but he has no problems fulfilling them. On "Karambolage" Terry is proving once again, that he has the skills and the talent to combine the various and exciting blends of contemporary House music, giving the tracks a clubby or progressive attitude, never losing the emotional aspect. Nevertheless all tracks have the personal signature of Terry Lee Brown Junior, always well balanced, but thrilling at the same time!
Be part of it!

My Review:

Does the german scene rock or what. Again we got a beautifull album from Germany, this time from the techhouse master Terry Lee Brown Jr.

I must admit I only recently discovered him, but im glad i did. This album is ideal for homelistening AND ideal for pre-party or even at a party. He combines great groovy techhouse party tracks with other more downtempo, chiller techhouse tracks.
Great stuff to listen to and u can hear a great deal of emotion in his tracks. You're constantly nodding your head while listening to this great album.
Higly recommended !

9/10

I bought "Fix Me Up" really nice melodic stuff. Rest of it is pretty good too.

Spot on. I've been into Terry Lee Brown Jr. for a while now, and IMO, Karambolage is his most complete and musical album released thus far. I had high expectations for this album and I'm more than impressed with it. It's definitely classic TLB with the basslines and the vocal snippets, but it's got such a solid techy and layered production to it too. Also, all the tracks seem much more atmospheric than the straight tech house of his older albums, which I think I prefer better. My two favorites for sure are Fix Me Up (like Clovis said) and It's All About, although the rest of the tracks are just as good.

The only complaint I have is that there are a few unreleased TLB tracks that have made their way onto a few mix compilations of late that I was really hoping would be on the cd (Rake Off, Deeper Solidity), but maybe they'll be put out later on.

Props to Norman Feller for keeping up the music under the Terry Lee Brown Jr. guise and Karambolage for me certainly makes up for his latest Nor Elle cd this year-Kombologi, which wasn't anything special.

Terry has always been one of the big names for me, I haven't heard this album in full though, so I won't comment.. but soon.

As for Plastic City, its probably my alltime favorite label..
and this is the place where G-Pal released his best stuff ever aswell.

I've only heard his remixes of RMB - Deep Down Below and RMB - Horizon and both are really good...
