dunno if this is the right way, but this is how i do it when i want to record from a DVD or video clip...
when you are in the recording screen, select your onboard sound as your recording source. you may have to make sure your sound settings(in SF and for your system) are configured so that your output is your onboard sound...
hopefully this will give you somehelp, i can't really explain it to well, as it requires a lot of messing around with. GL. |

I don't know how to record from an online station through Soundforge but the easiest way is to use a free Winamp plugin called StreamRipper :) Might be a bit late for last nights show though! ;)
I'd like to do the opposite. Soundforge is recording from my mixer fine but it's also recording every noise my PC makes - if an email comes through or if I browse a webpage or if feckin Windows randomly pops up a balloon I get all these noises show up when I record a mixset  Anyone know how to turn that off? |

You can turn those system sounds off by going to Control Panel -> Sounds & Audio Devices -> Click The Sounds Tab -> Sound Scheme: No Sounds.
Best thing to do when recording a stream or something. |
