Ok,FINALLY I get my chance to flame all the ty german- and swiss trancers.I hereby spill my rage all over this thread.So here they are,my black list:
1.Everything from DJ Balloon (I don't have the words to describe how crappy this is.)
2.Everything that's released on Overdose,Pulse,Aqualoop,and similar labels.90%(two exceptions are PvD and Hiver & Hammer) of german trance is utter crap,and that goes for all the wack german euro-idiots like Dumonde,Talla 2XLC (productions),Kai Tracid,Taucher etc. as well. OFF!!!:mad:Along with the swiss djs and producers,you give trance a bad name!!!!!
3.Almost every track on every Goliath-compilation.Swiss trance is the worst kind of electronic music IMHO.Nuff said.
Over to the singles(these are just a few):
1.Darude - Sandstorm.A cheap way to make money,staining a whole genre in the process.
2.Nunca - House Of Doom.The producer should be banished form every studio of the world.
3.DJ Jean - The Launch.A-N-N-O-Y-I-N-G.
4.Derb - Derb.The beat is a manifestation of the feared german march-music.Gives me cold chills.
5.Plex + Frank Künne - No Way Without You.The vocals stink,the beats are weak and the riff is probably the ugliest synthriff in trance
history.
6.Signum - Solar Level.Those synths are so cheesy I can't stand them.
But I can forgive Signum for this atrocity,if they keep releasing quality tracks like First Strike and 5 Yards.

What's worse is that my brother doesn't even like any form of electronica whatsoever but he keeps playing this track at home all the f##n'n time!!!!:whip: |

a few more names to throw into the fire...
firstly I'll curse the ty bootlegs that give good ones a bad name, like Atb vs william orbit vs conductor & cowboy, 2 tunes ed up there, and Blank & Jones vs Atb - 9pm Till I cream..... Man did that up cream.
Kaycee - Like this... utter bollocks
Mac Zimms - Cha Cha Cha (i dare u to listen to this all the way without turning it off)
Haitras - Spaced Invader (I'm ashamed to even remember the name of this one)
Any Signum tune after the original what u got 4 me, tho the remixes still rock
System F - Indian Summer/ The Game (these must have been done in 10 minutes to fill the album up)

a couple of points.
1. Such is Life is MADE by those vocals. They rule!!!!
2. For An Angel is crappidy crap crap. Noone can change my mind.
3. I like Swiss/German trancers, sorry!! Cosmic Gate, Dumonde, Talla, and others are pretty good.
Oh yeah, I apologize about the Airscape comment. Ultra - Free IS a great track. (transa mix of sparkles is better, and the Close Cover remix is decent...) Well, I can't think of anything else to say about Airscape. Ultra - Free is done better by Svension & Gilenen anywayz.
OH YEAH, stop hating Souvenir de Chine, it's a good tune! (but when it was on a poll against Adagio For Strings, that WAS ridiculous, SdC got some votes too! :confused:)
OK, that's it.
P.S. - was Paul van Dyk really a part of BT - Sunblind? If so, that's the only tune PvD touched that I really like.
EDT: WHAT THE FACK? Superstrings? Rank 1 Remix? that song owns! kicks Awakening's copycat ass in the pants. |

PvD i agree, but Tiesto? dude, he is one of the three Trance Gods. (Armin, Ferry, Tiesto)
but anyone with Cosmic Gate as number one, IC the problem. :D

At first I liked flight 643, but in the last year or so it just gets on my nerves.. as someone before me said - it gives me a headache.
And also, this doesn't qualify as trance to me, but it is popular - La La Land - absolutely CANNOT stand it! |
